Meanwhile the Potatoes where doing fabulously!! Not nearly as many potato bugs this year as last, but we did some serious rotating.

The garlic grew nicely! I was very excited about the garlic...last year i killed it all for some reason! The little spindly stuff in front here... spinach... that didn't even have a chance to grow... it got hot so fast here this summer that it just came up and immediately bolted!

A cabbage family bed. We grew a few broccoli and cauliflower this year, too.

The cage we made for the peas to grow up, this cage can be moved every year to the next bed in the rotation set. it will fit in 12 of the 15 beds we have here at the house. It worked VERY WELL!

The spinach in this bed did better, it was a more heat tolerant type and it is situated where it gets shade by 4pm. The garlic was amazing. so exciting!

The garden cat... in front of the first onions i have grown from seed!

Some Kaz Cabbage! We can't wait for them to be ready to eat, we love cabbage at our house.

One of our little broccolis! When we cut off this head, tiny little ones grew from the sides!

Some of the beautiful potatoes growing away!

This is my herb garden bed... there is a small pond in the middle... the frogs have moved in and make lots of noise! haha
The potatoes also grew taller that i ever imagined they could! Alex is 44 inches tall!
Grow little pepper, grow!! Our first pepper was a Tam Jalapeno!

We bought a large tomato plant from a nursery, so that we would have tomatoes, early.

This year we have 33 garden beds... some are big and some are small, but they were all filled this year!!!
