Spring is My Favorite Season!!!

We have been doing a lot of gardening lately! Last summer we re-did our landscaping and it included 3 new raised brick garden beds. So we spent many hours this winter decideing exactly what we were going to plant and planning the layout and how we were going to grow all that we wanted in those 3 small beds! The beds are 18 feet long and about 3.5 feet wide. They sit about 1 to 1.5 feet high, perfect for sitting on as you work! We have been really excited to see what we can grow in there! We discovered a Trellis system that we think should be the best, but we will see what we think after this growing season is over! We plan to grow as much upward as we can since we don't have a lot of ground sqaure footage! I hope it works! And... Yes that is my computer you see out there... we garden like nerds! We have to make sure our layout is exactly what our plan specifies! We spent hours building an excel program that has our layout with pictures of every plant and vegetable, when you click on the picture it takes you to a tab that details out that vegetable. Its Awesome! Jerry designed it!

Tons of flowers are blooming now and they are all so beautiful! Every Spring I go around taking pictures of all my beautiful things in the yard! What i will do with all those pics, I don't know, but I love preserving the beauty like that! Here is my Spring house photo... I think this one will go in our photo album for the judge in Kazakhstan!

This is the stream of my pond... Every spring i have to rearrange the rocks alittle to make it flow like i want... Well... this spring i found a leak in the spring, so after i fix that i will post a picture of the stream with water flowing in it! The pond is looking lovely though, there are already tadpoles in it and the water lilies are growing too!

My Star Magnolia, it smells so heavenly!

I knew there was a reason I like you so much!!! A computer in the garden. We are two peas in a pod! I'm the same way.

I can't wait to see the pics when everything starts growing. I'm sure it will be lovely.
